About Me

Why I help

At the age of 63, I experienced something that many people fear—a layoff.

It wasn't just the loss of a job. It shook my confidence, made me question my abilities and left me asking the same question I've since heard from many clients:

"Why me?"

For decades I'd built my career around a particular set of skills and experiences. Suddenly, I found myself facing a future that required something completely different. If I was going to move forward, I couldn't simply do more of what I'd always done. I had to learn new skills, think differently and step well outside my comfort zone.

At first, I looked for opportunities.

Then I realised I was looking in the wrong place.

The biggest obstacle wasn't finding the next opportunity—it was rebuilding the person who would have the confidence to embrace it.

That's when everything changed.

Instead of focusing on what I should do next, I began focusing on who I needed to become. I worked on rebuilding my confidence, challenging my limiting beliefs, developing new habits and learning entirely new skills. That personal journey became the foundation of what would eventually evolve into the Rapid Transformation Results (RTR) System.

As I refined the system and began helping others through layoffs, career changes, retirement and other major life transitions, I realised something remarkable.

Although their circumstances were different, the struggle was often the same.

Their confidence had been shaken. Their identity had been challenged. Before they could successfully embrace a new opportunity, they first had to believe in themselves again.

That experience taught me something I now believe wholeheartedly.

It's never too late to reinvent yourself.

Whether you're 35, 55, 65 or 75, there will always be new skills to learn, new challenges to overcome and new opportunities to embrace. The people who continue to thrive aren't necessarily the most talented—they're the ones who remain willing to grow.

I also believe retirement has been misunderstood. For too many people, it marks the end of feeling useful or needed. I see it as the beginning of an entirely new chapter—one filled with opportunities to learn, contribute, discover new passions and continue becoming the person you're capable of being.

We should never stop growing, learning or reinventing ourselves. The only time that journey truly ends is when life itself does.

That's why I do what I do.
